Kate and Gin, the amazing dancing dog, shot to fame when they made the finals of Britain’s Got Talent in 2008. Although this incredible dancing duo did not win the show, they found an instant place in the nation’s hearts.
Kate will perform twice daily at LovePets in the main arena sponsored by VetUk. This is your chance to watch the pair doing their incredible performance and dancing routine together close up. And, as a special treat, Kate will be joined by her two new additions to the family called Ice and Twist.
Kate will be around the show on both days and looks forward to chatting with visitors, signing autographs and introducing you to her little stars – Gin, Ice and Twist.
Says Kate, ‘So many exciting things have happened to Gin and I since we appeared in the finals of the second series of ITV’s Britain’s Got Talent that I really don’t know where to begin. In June we joined the other Britain’s Got Talent finalists on the nationwide Britain Got Talent Live Tour 2008. Having travelled to arenas the length and breadth of the country, our final performance was at The O2 Arena London in front of 6,500 people. This was such an amazing experience and I did wonder whether any other dogs have ever performed at the O2, or if Gin is the first? We have been honoured to appear as guests on many TV shows, including The Underdog Show final on Living TV, Alan Carr’s Celebrity Ding Dong on channel 4, The Alan Titchmarsh Show on ITV, Gordon Ramsay’s Cook Along Live on Channel 4 and The Ant & Dec Documentary on Channel 5. On 6th October 2008 our book “Kate and Gin” was published by Harper Collins and is the story of our lives together including our journey through the auditions of Britain’s Got Talent to the final and beyond.
